Four trees 30/11/12

Silverstar was last to hop down from the highrock as he sat down to the riverclans root back to camp, he looked at the clans. 'Gatherings have changed for the worse' the male thought to himself quickly as he looked around for hes deputy.

He frowned. Not many cats would ask that question. He shrugged. "Why do you ask?"

Ecilpsedark's eyes sparkled. "I'm just curious. About the other territories, I mean. I guess I just like finding things, like knowledge."

He nodded to eclipse. "It's nice. We can bask in the sun when we want. Yet we can hide in the brush like we want." He then sighed. "And the prey,is full of the smell of the forest. I mean the taste is kinds woody you could say." He knew he sounded like a fool.

The black-white cat smiled. "I wish I could smell that, you're lucky to live there, Hawk." She shook herself and smiled at the leader. "You're a nice cat. RiverClan territory has the river and cool air and an air of calm about it, I think."

He chuckled. "Thank you,i think." He paused. "How's the prey running?"

Ecilpsedark thought for a moment. "Good, I think. As Silverstar said, RiverClan is going to survive leaf-bare well." She looked at Hawkstar. "How is it with you, Hawk?"

He sighed. "I think we might be fine. But we have only a few mouths to feed. I think we'll,be fine." He chuckled. "Why not lay down. You've been standing the entire time."

Ecilpsedark felt surprised and lay down. She hasn't realised that she'd been standing all this time. The black-white cat looked up at Hawkstar.

He grinned. "What does fish taste like? I've always wondered that. I've only had rabbit,vole,mice,thrush,magpies,and so on. Never fish." He blinked,but kept his glance at tall rock.

Well, it's both hard and soft with a sharp but delicious taste and scent. Sort of cool and refreshing." The black-white cat suddenly grinned. "Although the smell somtimes is a bit too much for my nose."

hearing other cats talking about prey the young kits belly rumbled, with a happy glow in his eyes he turned away from snowflower and bounced over to the two one smelt like a leader of thunderclan the other a riverclan cat. he grinned "im badgerkit!"

He chuckled. "That's what old food taste and smells like." He then saw a young kit that smelled like a windclanner. "Hi,I'm hawkstar. Nice to meet you badger kit." He grinned. This gathering is better then most others.

The black-white cat turned to see a kit bounding their way. "Hi, I'm Ecilpsedark," she said in answer to the kit's introduction, smiling. WindClan, I think. Her smile faded as a ShadowClan warrior rushed over to the WindClan kit and grabbed it. I sneaked out of camp once to go to a gathering, she thought. "It's nice to meet you Badgerkit", Ecilpsedark called.

The Shadowclan leader blinked in surprise. "I dont really like to share tongues," she said sheepishly. "Its not my thing. Besides, talking counts right?" Her tail twitched as she spotted Oceanfeather looking at Silvermoon as if he wanted to be more than friends. She was happy when he went to confront a kit that had come to the gathering. A kit?! Turning to look at Snakestar she fastened him with a disapproving gaze. "Why is your kit here?"

Rolling his eyes,he flicked his ears in farewell to the kit. Good luck. He mouthed the words slowly at the kit.

Snakestar glared at badgerkit "you will be held back for a moon from being an apprentice Badgerkit! you know you arent supposed to come to gatherings" he stood and took badgerkit from the shadowclan warriors jaws "thank you for brining him to me" the leaders gaze fell on shadowstar softening a little before he turned and gave a yowl through the kits scruff "we will leave early tonight due to a naughty kit" he touched shadowstars nose with his tail before bounding off towards camp

Silvermoon watched as windclan left, feeling eyes on her she turned and stared at oceanfeather, she returned his love as well. her affection for him burned like a fire in her green peircing eyes. standing she padded over to him and sat down staring at her paws rather shyly

Silvermoon hesitated then touched her nose to oceanfeathers cheek and mumbled quietly "i return your affection oceanfeather" her eyes glittered with shyness as well as fear. her silver coat shone under the full moon and the stars giving her a shining starclany look. her green eyes glittered luminously.

Shadowstar stared bitterly at Silvermoon. Of course she could see them. How could her friend betray her like this? Lashing her tail, her eyes pooled with grief. If she could, she would have been crying. How dare Oceanfeather steal Silver from her? Licking her chest in an effort to calm down, she leapt of the highstone. "Were heading back to camp," she said roughly to the two as she passed them. "Lets go." Picking up the pace, grief clouded her sight and she sprinted of into the shadows.

Hearing snakestar remark,he yawned. "I think we should better get back to camp." He looked towards the east. Seeing a small flash of light,he yowled. "Thunderclan return to camp!!" He then walked off towards thunderclan camp.

Snowflower looks to Snakestar and sees Badgerkit in his mouth. "Well, the gathering IS for apprentices and above..."she thought silently. She padded away but turned around. "Nice meeting you EclipseDark."she said and padded off.
