The Owl Tree

This old tree has always been home to an old horned owl, grumpy and irratble its said to have lead Owltalon to prey.
this is a good place to find prey in leafbare

Silently padding through the brush,he saw two lights flicker in the tree. He grinned. The owls here. He saw it fly from its roost. He stalked after it. Seeing the owl swoop down,and carry a mouse away,he stalked closer. He saw several burrows. He licked his lips. Seeing four mice crawl back to their dens,he pounced. Killing them all,he dragged his catch back from the burrows. He buried his catch. He then sat down by the tree. Watching the owl swoop out,of its nest.

She greets hawkstar. " What's wrong?" Sitting next to Hawkstar and smiling she says " Is everything ok?"

Hearing Tigerlily,he turned his head. Flicking his ears,he glanced back at the tree when she sat down. "Not much. You missed the gathering earlier." He chuckled. He pawed at the ground.

Saying sarcastically she replied, " We'll sorry. So, how have you been doing?"

He shrugged. "Fine I guess." He then looks back up. Sighing,he flicks his ears. "Do you miss mom and dad? You know,them up there." He then looked at the ground blankly. "I mean,we don't even know what they look like. He growled in frustration,sinking his long claws into the tree.

"Yeah, I guess. Well, I always thought that they looked kind of like us. Staring up in the sky,she says " We might see them in star clan. " Looking back at him,she says " Lets go back to thunderclan camp."

He shook his head. "No,i doubt we'll see them in thunderclan. I mean,we we're born in the twolegged place. Not the forest." He then heard that she wanted to go back to camp. He sighed. "Alright,lets go. He then jumped off of the root he sat on,and rushes back to camp

Running back he looked at where he buried his catch. Unburying it,he saw that it smelled fine,and it had no mold on it. He sighed. Then picked it up,and ran back to camp. Trying to keep the four mice on his jaws
