Flicking his tail the windclan leader turned and began racing over the moor, his long legs aiding him in his flight towards the gathering.

Oceanfeather walked through the dark bushes as he arrived on the Shadow-Wind Border. He didn't really know what to do from here... He had passed Silvermoon's scent on the way here, and wondered if they could ever even be friends if he asked to join Windclan. He didn't even know if he'd fit in... or even be liked. He didn't know how to catch a hare? Let alone run fast enough to attempt it. He was good at sneaking through the shadows, but he wasn't about to stay in a clan with a daft leader... or let Silvermoon be shifted off her path because of him.

Hollyclaw trotted alongside the border, marking it as she went. Smelling a strong scent of Shadowclan, she hurried. Halting abruptly infront a handsome Shaowclam warrior, she tipped her head at him curiously. "Whatare you doing here?"

Silvermoon padded up her ears back, she couldnt stay in shadowclan. not with shadowstar not listening to her, her tail flicked through the air. leafstar had had kits... and bluestar had had kits. her green eyes glittered angrily. glancing up she saw a beautiful windclan warrior and oceanfeather. her heart seemed to stop.

"HelloHollyclaw."Snowflower said and padded up behind them. "I was just looking for some spinach a-"she paused. She looked to the male and Silvermoon. "Your the grumpy tom from the gathering."she sighed.

Oceanfeather waited, and didn't notice Silvermoon behind him. When Hollyclaw appeared, he tried not to view her over. He had heard from some others a while back that the Windclan Deputy was a looker, but his heart didn't belong to the cat before him... but the one behind him. "I'm here in request to join Windclan. I'm leaving Shadowclan due to Shadowstar's ignoran--" He cut off abruptly when Snowflower padded up. His ears flattened at her comment, he wasn't exactly in the mood for it. "I wasn't grumpy you mange-pelt. I am now, that's for sure. But at the gathering, I was friendly as a fawn, so don't start yapping about a cat you don't know." His tail lashed, and he attempted to kep the fur on his shoulders flat.

"no oceanfeather! we can stay in shadowclan i dont want to be deputy anyway!" her green eyes glittered she leapt over to him and flattened her ears at the windclan deputy threatened by her looks. swishing her silver tail she turned and stared at oceanfeather "shadowclan needs its warriors we have to stay in shadowclan she will have no choice but to appoint you deputy"

Oceanfeather regained his position with shock on his face. Was she there the whole time? The tom thought to himself embarrassed. His whiskers twitched, Silvermoon was right. In Shadowstar's opinion, he would be the only eligible warrior, and the warrior code stated a deputy must be chosen before Moonhigh that day. The dark tabby huffed, lashing his tail. Silvermoon was right, but he would not be happy facing Shadowstar again. Oceanfeather felt like ripping the black shecat's fur off. "Okay... We'll be going Hollyclaw." he paused and turned to Snowflower. "And you should learn to hold your tongue." He spat and padded back to camp.

Silvermoon flicked her tail and pined her ears back glaring at hollyclaw. with a low hiss she snapped "oceanfeather is mine" she turned and padded after oceanfeather her ears pinned back, she hoped that oceanfeather still liked her.

Snowflower chuckled. "That's what other clan cats say to me."she smirked. "But their not part of windclan so why should I listen."she thought silently. "Back to what I was looking for."she said and sniffed around for spinach.
